Pastor Zach and Annie (and their baby boy) are grateful to call Santee home and to serve the people of this community through Palm Church. Their heart is to see lives rooted in Jesus and families flourishing through real relationships and everyday faith.
Zach has been in ministry for over ten years and carries a deep passion for helping people come to know Jesus. He believes everyone is building their life on something, and that the strongest foundation for life, family, and marriage is a relationship with Christ.
Zach and Annie are from East County and love San Diego. They are excited to meet you, hear your story, and walk alongside you — trusting that Palm Church can be a place for you and your family to grow, belong, and build a life rooted in Jesus.

60,000+ in Santee alone
Santee is home to a growing and diverse community. With thousands of people living, working, and raising families here, we believe there is a meaningful opportunity to build relationships and serve our neighbors well.

Over 66% believe in God, but church attendance down 14% in last 10 years
Faith still matters in Santee, even as fewer people are connected to church. Palm Church exists to help people rediscover truth in Jesus.

Largest demographic are now millennials
As more millennials settle in Santee, build families, and shape the future of the city, Palm Church is here to walk alongside them — offering community, purpose, and a faith that fits real life.
These five words describe the kind of life we believe God invites us into.
Simple. Honest. Real. This is what we want people to experience at Palm.
God frees us from the weight of our past and the pressure to pretend.
In Jesus, we are forgiven, made clean, and able to walk with God in a new way.
Freedom creates space for honesty.
When nothing is hidden between us, God, and it becomes easier to be real with others.
We want to be a community that actually lives out what we believe.
We weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone.
God wants to be known, and His presence brings connection and comfort.
At Palm, we want people to find real relationships and a sense of family.
Following Jesus changes us.
Not overnight, not perfectly, but steadily.
God shapes our hearts, our habits, and our desires as we walk with Him.
A life rooted in Jesus produces life.
God moves us from spiritual exhaustion to strength, wholeness, and maturity.
Healthy people build healthy churches, and healthy churches bless their city.
Palm Church is built on a set of values that shape how we follow Jesus, how we love people, and how we live out our faith together. These values guide our decisions, our culture, and the way we show up for one another and for our city.
They aren’t just ideas we believe — they are practices we live out. From prayer and community to spiritual health and joy, these values describe the kind of church we are becoming and the kind of life we believe Jesus invites us into.
Prayer is communicating with God. Prayer has less to do with the eloquence of our words, and more to do with seeking God. Prayer moves God’s hand here on Earth, and it keeps us on His agenda for our lives. Through prayer, we see God move and we build our intimacy with Him, so we will be a prayerful people.
We only exist as a church because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. It is God’s ministry, we just get to be a part of it. Everything we do is rooted in the mission of Jesus and the truth of the Bible.
At Palm Church, we choose to grow together. We want to be firmly planted in the Lord. We never outgrow our dependence on Him, and we grow together. We bear each other’s burdens, and we do life together.
We want to help believers be healthy spiritually. When believers are healthy, there is ALWAYS fruit in the right season. We are chasing after spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental health so we can impact this world for Jesus Christ.
We are serious about God, and the mission of the Gospel. We want to have fruitful believers, and part of that fruit is joy! There is joy and hope in Jesus, and there is a lot of spiritual value in fun. Following Jesus is anything but boring, and the church shouldn’t be either.
We will gather weekly to pray because we pray first and we pray often. We will also be sending out monthly prayer communication emails and posts about things to pray about. Wherever you are, no matter what city, state, or country you are in, we ask that you would pray with us.
These startup parties are designed to help our team meet as many people in the community as possible. We will pray, hear people’s stories, share the vision of Palm Church, answer questions, and invite people to join our launch team.
The launch team gatherings are designed to prepare the launch team practically, spiritually, and culturally for the launch of our weekend services. We will focus on building the chemistry, capability, and the culture of our launch team.
We are committed to loving East County and greater San Diego. We will host events to meet the felt needs of our area because we value loving our city and neighbors. We will intentionally seek opportunities to serve our city throughout 2025, leading up to the Grand Opening. Go.
